Mathew Knowles is widely recognized in the entertainment industry for his effective approach in developing and promoting award-winning artists, and garnered countless awards for his achievements in business, the music industry, and community partnerships. He has achieved record sales exceeding 450 million worldwide, with works featuring some of the biggest names in music including Chaka Khan, Earth Wind & Fire, The O’Jays, Destiny’s Child, Solange, and Beyoncé to name a few. Mathew Knowles possesses an MBA in Strategic Planning and Organizational Culture and a Ph.D in Business Administration from Cornerstone Christian Bible College, and has held professorships at Texas Southern University, where he taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses on the entertainment industry and entrepreneurship as and currently Prairie View A & M University where he teaches in the School of Business.
Micheal Kay Kiladejo began his career in music as a teenage songwriter signed to Sony in the '90s. He co-founded the record label SMP (Sony Music Publishing), to release his own record, the urban hit, MissingYou. Michael’s Track Record Entertainment label, recently released records in the Afro-beat arena with Demola, and Davido, and has a catalogue of releases by rappers like Jim Jones, Tech Nine, and Kismet Brown. Michael then went on to write, produce and develop the girl group "Choice" which included its lead singer "Pink", resulting in them signing to Laface records and also, Pink's debut album, Can't take me home, was certified Multi-Platinum. Michael was also consulted in the early development of Amy Winehouse, and has written and collaborated and worked with artists, including Jim Jones, Kleshay, Jermaine Stewart, Narada Michael Walden and Kool & the Gang.
Olakunle Oladehin has a rich research background that developed into a strong passion for data collection and analytics, through systems building and autonomation. He is a leader of high performing teams in various disciplines across Africa, and currently leads high performing professionals in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines.
Olakunle is also medical doctor, entrepreneur, systems advocate and prior to founding MePlaylist, he founded Africa’s First Self Service (Do-It-Yourself) Music Distribution Service, TuneAfrique.
He is responsible for guiding the vision and strategy of the Company and leading the management team.
Ayodeji Oyenekan is the head of engineering at MePlaylist. He achieved his BSc. Electronics in the United Kingdom and is also a seasoned IT professional with a comprehensive business/technical skill set. He acquired his expertise in business process automation, requirements analysis, workflow design, project management and process modelling, while working in the IT industry in the UK and Nigeria. Prior to working on MePlaylist, Ayodeji co-founded TuneAfrique, the first (Do-It-Yourself) Music Distributor in Africa, founded FARMYUMM (A web platform that aggregates & connects local farmers and organic food processors to buyers) and SENDPADII (A mobile app location based on-demand laundry service)
